The premise that global corporatization has increased global economic growth is hype, not reality.  Over 20 years of increased liberalization of trade and growing corporate dominance from 1980-2000, growth rates are down and many key social indicators are down compared to the previous 20 years. From 1960 trade considerations were generally subordinate to quality of life issues in most countries. Greater growth and prosperity resulted.
